Hello, my name is Deron, I grew up in Northern Ontario where I spent most of my time enjoying the outdoors whether it was swimming, hiking, hockey, biking or just enjoying the wilderness. After high school I traveled out west and worked at a hockey school in Powel River B.C. This experience and my love for the outdoors compelled me to find a career that would allow me to stay in B.C.
I am now married (to my wife Jennifer) and have two boys (Isaac & Noah) and a dog (Tarzan). The Okanagan has been great to my family and it is a pleasure building homes for people here in Vernon.
I realize the stress that can come with building a new home but I am here to let you know that it can be an exciting, fun-filled experience. It is my job to take you step by step through the entire building process and have all your expectations met. I achieve this with the help of an entire building team of drafters, designer’s, color coordinators, a strong work ethic and attention to detail, without losing sight of the most important goal, which is having you enjoy your building experience with Okanagan Trend West.
